MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis man with at least 25 kids by 15 different mothers keeps popping up in the news.
Terry Turnage has been called the worst deadbeat dad ever having fathered more than 25 kids by more than 15 different women – 15 women with an apparent problem when it comes to picking a good man.
It’s mind boggling that most of these women did not do any homework on the man they eventually slept with? A couple of them admit to finding out about Turnage when the formally filed for child support while the others appear to have just – well gotten pregnant by Turnage. Moreover, what were the women that had multiple children by Turnage thinking? If you’ve got one child the man isn’t supporting, why in hell would you have some more by the same man? Turnage must have an intoxicating “Mack Hand” .
Twenty-two-year-old Paula Stewart says “Everybody tells me, ‘What you doing talking to him? How you didn’t know he had all these kids?’ Uh duh, I’ve been in school. I wasn’t out like that.”
You don’t have to be “out ” anywhere to get some basic history on the person you are dating. That holds especially true when that person is a flashy club owner that appears not to run from the spotlight or his past sexual transgressions.
Turnage downplays his flashy persona in the courts by showing up in rags. However on the streets of Forrest City, he’s known as the flashy club owner that drives fancy cars and goes by the name TYB. Those who know Turnage say it stands for ‘Take your B—-!’
Being a deadbeat parent is atrocious within itself. Being a deadbeat parent and rubbing the other parent and your children’s noses in it is an abomination of the highest grade and should evoke nothing short of full-scale anathema from society.
IMHO Turnage should be jailed with a cell-mate known as “Big Delicious”. I bet being on the receiving end of being the one that gets impregnated, he’ll undergo a change of ways and attitude.
The takeaway here – folks know who you are sleeping with. If the encounter isn’t going to add any value to your life – take a pass. Cheap thrills are void of meaning and will leave you with a broken heart, and often times a broken life.
